Freshwater Senior Campus Transition to Year 7-12 Co-Educational High School

The timeline to expand Northern Beaches Secondary College Freshwater Senior Campus to include Years 7 to 10 has been extended to allow more time for transition planning and to enable currently enrolled to complete their senior schooling.

The updated timeframe will now see Years 7 and 8 start at Freshwater in 2027 and Years 7-12 from 2028.  The longer transition will allow the current student cohort to complete their senior schooling and provide more time for parents to plan for their children's schooling.

The updated timeline follows consultation with the school community, including parents, teachers and students and during this time, the school facilities will be upgraded and allow planning for implementing the 7-12 curriculum.

We will be working closely with staff throughout the 2025-26 planning phase to ensure a smooth transition and value your continued input and support throughout this next stage.

More information including frequently asked questions are available on the NSW Department of Education website.

Thank you for your ongoing support and patience as we navigate this transition and welcome the next stage for the Freshwater school community.

SchoolTV

schooltv

A wellbeing platform for schools supporting parents

SchoolTV is a world first, wellbeing platform featuring Dr Michael Carr-Gregg. It addresses the modern day realities faced by schools and parents who increasingly need clear, relevant and fact-based information around raising safe, happy and resilient young people.

Whilst there is a great deal of information available, this can often be confusing and overwhelming for parents looking for guidance. SchoolTV addresses this issue. It is an online resource designed to empower parents with credible, sound information with realistic and practical strategies.

SchoolTV is a school branded resource that is available through subscribed schools thus allowing parents to access information on individual topics.
